PROJECT PROPOSAL

Visual Identity for 29th Convocation’ 08 at NID

Guide: Prof. Anil Sinha

Introduction

Rite of Passage…
Convocation is a very important day in the life of every student. It is a day of big achievement and a day to feel proud about. It is a ceremony that marks one stage of a person's life to another, ready and set to face new responsibilities and opportunities and to return to the society in a new status.

Well, at NID, convocation is not just a ceremony where the Diplomas are handed over to the students, but it’s a celebration. It’s a Refresh time for NID where the students of all disciplines, convocating as well as the present, showcase their work. Giving Students, Teachers, staff and parents, an excellent opportunity to interact with each other.

The one day you look back to move forward

Over a period of time that I have spent at NID, and thorough the past few courses I have realized that it is the active work that excites me the most. Designing Convocation graphics as my very first project would hence give me the perfect opportunity to work on something that is very practical, interactive and also involves a whole lot of responsibilities.
